Dutch artist Daniel Disselkoen created “Cucalu“, a mobile app that lets users play with their visual environment by challenging them with simple and amusing missions: taking photos in the street of specific shapes, such as circles, squares and triangles.
Once a picture is taken, it is automatically submitted to other players’ vote, allowing the photographer to gain points and unlock new missions.
“Cucalu” requires players to open their eyes and be espacially careful to their surroundings. An interesting mix of physical and virtual experiences and a great way to discover, or re-discover, our daily environment. Pop-Up City
